Back in March, MXSW reported Arkansas-based chain Slim Chickens would make its Arizona debut in Gilbert in September.
The fast-casual restaurant opened yesterday on the southwest corner of Gilbert and Guadalupe.
Slim Chickens offers chicken tenders, chicken wings, and even chicken and waffles (pictured). Sides include fries, fried okra, fried pickles, and fried mushrooms. Desserts are served in Mason jars.
A second location reportedly is in the works for Chandler.
