This week’s ‘Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe’ menu: Chicken Omega & Pork Molise

Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, in a private dinning room, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

This week’s menu of rotating selections from the restaurant’s regular menu:

  • Greka: Baked feta cheese with sautéed whole garlic, assorted olives, roasted red peppers, scallions, rosemary, and lemon peel with whole wheat pita chips.
  • Mandarin Dijon Chicken Salad: Grilled chicken, black olives, mandarin oranges, peas, carrots, water chestnuts, pecans, hearts of palm, and pineapple with honey Dijon dressing.
  • Chicken Omega: Strips of grilled chicken, spinach, pine nuts, garlic, and feta in rich white wine cream.
  • Pork Molise: Grilled pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon, roasted garlic, horseradish mashed potatoes, honey caramelized onions, and apricot-cherry sauce (pictured).
  • Dark Chocolate Orange Almond Cake

Cost is $27 per person plus tax and tip. Add five wine tastes for $10. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
