SunUp Brewing in Phoenix will host a four-course Oktoberfest dinner at 6 p.m. Friday.
The menu:
- Appetizer: Stuffed mushroom caps with roasted apples, caramelized onions, and sausage.
- Salad: Dandelion greens with a poached egg, house-cured bacon bits, and a balsamic reduction.
- Entree: Slow-roasted pork loin stuffed with fennel, dried cranberries, and a dijon vinegarette. Served with Kartoffelpuffer (German-style potato cake), on a bed of pickled red cabbage, and roasted brussel sprouts with a beer demi.
- Desserts: Candied plum and marzipan tartlette with a beer caramel sauce.
A vegetarian menu also will be available.
