The Hub Grill &Â Bar opens its second Mesa location today on the northwest corner of Stapley and Baseline.
It takes over the 7,400-square-foot space formerly occupied by Mad Dog Saloon since 2011. Before that, it was a Salty Senorita.
The Hub’s menu offers Southwestern items – such as Arizona smoked wings in 12 different flavors and a Southwest pizza with carne asada – in addition to more traditional burgers, pizzas, and entrees. (Pictured above: IPA shrimp.)
The full bar has 30 beers on tap and about 50 more by the can or bottle. Five-beer samplers are available.
The renovated interior features more than 50 TVs, including a ‘‘TV Wall’’ with six 65-inch screens and eight 48-inch screens to watch every NFL game at the same time.
The Hub’s hours are 11 a.m.-midnight Sunday-Wednesday and 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Thursday- Saturday.
The original Hub Bar & Grill has been operating on the northeast corner of Sossaman and Baseline in east Mesa since 2011.
