JC’s Steakhouse in Gilbert will hold its monthly wine tasting at 7 p.m. Wednesday. This month’s focus will be on Australia and New Zealand.
The food pairings will feature Australian-themed fare:
- Pairing #1: Salt-and-pepper calamari and crocodile, paired with Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc.
- Pairing #2: Pea and ham soup and shrimp-on-the-barbie salad, paired with Pillar Box Red Blend.
- Pairing #3: Shepherd’s pie and lamb. paired with Morris Code Shiraz.
- Pairing #4: Lamington and pavlova, paired with Oyster Bay Pinot Noir.
