Bernard’s at Ocotillo Golf Resort is among just a handful of East Valley restaurants participating in Arizona Restaurant Week, which officially runs Friday through Sunday, Sept. 25.
But Bernard’s isn’t waiting until the weekend. It’s already offering its special three-course, prix-fixe menu for $33 per person this week:
Starter (choice of one)
- Soup du jour
- Butternut squash and pine nut ravioli:Â Fresh sage and brown butter
- Crab cake: Tortilla-encrusted crab, jicama slaw, roasted jalapeño pepper and spicy cilantro lime aioli
- Roasted beet and Crow’s Dairy goat cheese salad: Beet chips, micro greens and balsamic glaze
Entrée (choice of one)
- Seared duck breast:Â Achiote-marinated duck breast, maple-pecan wild rice, green beans and orange sauce
- Grilled filet mignon: 7-ounce filet, parsley and celery root mash, sautéed baby cremini mushroom and mild mulato chili sauce
- Rainbow trout almondine:Â Green beans, saffron rice and Queen Creek extra virgin lemon olive oil
- Rack of lamb:Â Espresso- and Dijon-marinated with sweet potato mash, asparagus and natural lamb reduction (pictured)
Dessert (choice of one)
- Classic crème brulee
- Apple cobbler:Â Served warm with vanilla ice cream
- Chocolate torte:Â Chocolate cake, chocolate cream, fresh raspberry coulis
