It’s Talk Like a Pirate Day, and Krispy Kreme and Long John Silvers are offering free food to customers who talk or dress like a pirate.
At Krispy Kreme, you can get a free glazed doughnut for talking like a pirate, or a dozen free glazed for dressing like a pirate.
To qualify for the latter, you must wear at least three of the following: pirate hat, bandana, eye patch, costume hook, pirate shirt, peg leg, parrot, or knickers.
You’ll also get a dozen free glazed using Krispy Kreme’s Snapchat pirate filter to “dress†like a pirate. Just show your Snapchat image at the store.
At Long John Silvers, you’ll get a free piece of Alaskan whitefish or chicken for talking like a pirate. If you dress the part, you’ll get a two-piece fish or chicken basket. For the dress code, click here.
