Wednesday: Hangar 24 beer dinner at JC’s Steakhouse in Gilbert

Northern California’s Hangar 24 will be the featured brewery for this month’s beer dinner at 7 p.m. Wednesday at JC’s Steakhouse in Gilbert.

The menu will feature five beers and four dishes prepared by chef-owner Dennis Petty:

• Social beer: Easy Glider session IPA.
• 1st course: German beef rolls, paired with Oktoberfest fall lager.
• 2nd course: Orange, walnut and Gorgonzola salad, paired with Orange Wheat.
• 3rd course: Beer can chicken with rice pilaf, candied carrots, and pears, paired with Betty IPA.
• 4th course: Lemon pudding cakes with apricot sauce, paired with Polycot apricot wheat.
