Tuesday: ‘3rd Tuesday’ dinner at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert

Cornish game hen will be the entree at this month’s ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’ dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert.

The three-course dinners feature three new dishes from Romeo’s creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgable waitstaff:

• 3 All Day (pictured): Texas caviar with applewood-smoked pork rib; roasted mini red peppers, Italian sausage, onion-tomato-parsley sauce; black beans, grated carrots, onions, garlic, portobello mushrooms, brown rice, fresh herbs and spices, salsa verde, radish salad. Paired with 2014 Sea Monster Octopussy White Blend.
• Cornish Game Hen: Roasted Cornish game hen, fire-roasted vegetables, spicy grain mustard cream sauce. Paired with 2013 Cuvaison Pinot Noir Carneros.
• La Bete Noire: Dark chocolate cake. Paired with 2014 Cosentino The Franc Cabernet Franc, Lodi.
