Valley-based Sauce Pizza & Wine has opened its first Gilbert location on the northeast corner of Gilbert Road and the Santan Freeway.
The 3,200-square-foot fast-casual eatery is one of the first businesses to open at the new Rivulon commercial center, a 250-acre, mixed-use development.
Sauce’s 13th Arizona location serves the concept’s familiar menu of thin-crust pizzas ($9.95-$12.50), paninis ($8.50), pastas ($7.50-$9), and salads ($6-$11).

Sauce is one of a dozen concepts developed by Valley restauranteur Sam Fox, who sold it to a group headed by Ra Sushi co-founder Scott Kilpatrick last year.
Hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
