Lucky Lou’s American Grill, a casino-themed restaurant and bar, soon will open its third location on the southwest corner of Power and Chandler Heights in Queen Creek.
It’s taking over the space that formerly housed Native New Yorker and, most recently, Fidelberto’s.
Owner Louis ‘‘Lou’’ Lukens and Dr. Scott Campbell opened the original Lucky Lou’s in northeast Mesa in 2004 and added a Chandler location in 2009.
Lucky Lou’s menu features Bugsy’s Burgers ($8.99-$10.50), Jackpot Sandwiches ($7.99-$9.99), Front Line Salads ($9.99-$15.99), and Full House Entrees ($9.99-$17.99).
(Pictured: King Creole, an appetizer of sautéed shrimp in a thick, spicy Creole sauce. Served with garlic bread for $13.99.)
No opening date has been announced, but look for Lucky Lou’s to open in January.
