Tucson’s Barrio Brewing will be the featured brewery for this month’s beer dinner at 7 p.m. Wednesday at JC’s Steakhouse in Gilbert.
The menu will feature five beers and four dishes prepared by chef-owner Dennis Petty:
- Social beer: Barrio Rea’s Ruby Red IPA.
- 1st course: Green chile quesadilla paired with Barrio Blonde.
- 2nd course: Chicken tortilla soup and taco salad paired with Barrio Blanco white IPA
- 3rd course: Saturdays so enchiladas chicken chimichanga Spanish rice and refried beans paired with Barrio Rojo Scottish-style ale.
- 4th course: Mini churros and lime-and-tequila-infused strawberry shortcake paired with Mocha Java stout.
