1. The second annual Bacon, Blues & Brews Festival will take place noon-8 p.m. Saturday at Founder’s Park (map) in Queen Creek.

2. Admission is $8 in advance (buy here) or $12 at the gate. Kids 12 and under get free admission with a paid adult. $65 VIP passes are available.

3. Parking is free. Parking is located just north of the event behind the baseball fields. Overflowing parking is located at the library with a free shuttle.

4. Food booths will offer everything from bacon-wrapped sausage to bacon mac-n-cheese to bacon ice cream. Non-bacon food also will be available.

5. Craft beers from a dozen breweries will be sold in 5- and 10-ounce cups. Wine also will be available.

6. The country and blues music lineup will feature Smokestack Lightning (noon-1:15), Moon Shine Voodoo Band (1:30-2:45), Common Ground Blues (3-4:30), Sugar Thieves (4:45-6:15), and Rebel Heart (6:30-8).

7. Others activities will include a bacon-eating contest for firefighters and an all-day Kids Zone.

8. Things you’re allowed to bring in: Chairs, blankets, strollers, personal-sized umbrellas, two unopened water bottles per person, and small dogs on a leash.
