Pork osso bucco will be the entree at this month’s ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’ dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert.
The three-course dinners feature three new dishes from Romeo’s creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgable waitstaff:
- Tr3s sliders (pictured on left): Mortadella, piquillo peppers, horseradish sauce; smoked turkey, cranberry-siracha mayo; ahi tuna, guacamole; all on whole wheat seeded mini buns. Paired with 2014 Swanson Vineyards Rosato.
- Pork osso buco (right): Roasted pork shank, Israeli couscous, corn, peas, black beans, zucchini, squash, peppadew peppers, roasted Brussels sprouts, veal demi glace, and pickled carrots. Paired with 2013 Achaval Ferrer Malbec Mendoza.
- Espresso-chocolate pudding: Dark chocolate with toasted nuts. Paired with 2013 Pine Ridge Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.
