Dec. 14: Feast of Seven Fishes at Zappone’s in Gilbert

Zappone’s Italian Bistro in Gilbert will hold its annual Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14.

The dinner, also known as ‘‘The Vigil,’’ is an Italian-American tradition, typically held on Christmas Eve, featuring seven different seafood dishes.

This year’s menu:

• Mussels with crostini
• Ahi tuna crudo
• Bacala fritter
• Dungeon crab soup
• Stuffed calamari
• Saffron lobster ravioli
• Branzino with polenta
• Limoncello Panna Cotta
• Non-alcoholic beverage

Cost is $60 per person, which includes tax and tip. Tickets, which are going fast, can be purchased through the restaurant’s website.
