The Hungry Monk in Chandler is hosting a promo for aviation-themed brewery Hangar 24 at 5 p.m. today.
The highlight will be the tapping of Pugachev’s Cobra, the Redlands, Calif., brewery’s seasonal Russian imperial stout (13.8% ABV).
The beer, named for a difficult aerial maneuver, is released every December as part of Hangar 24’s Barrel Roll series.
The Monk also will have Hangar 24’s flagship sour Orange Wheat, Scottish-style ale Hullabaloo, and seasonal Winter Warmer on tap.
Brewery reps will be on hand to talk about the beers and give away swag.
