JC’s Steakhouse in Gilbert will go south of the border for its monthly wine tasting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 12.
This month’s focus will be on L.A. Cetto wines from Baja California and Roger Clyne’s Mexican Moonshine tequila.
The food-and-wine pairings:
- 1st course: Stuffed Poblano chile, paired with Tequila Sunset featuring Mexican Moonshine.
- 2nd course: Black bean and corn taco salad, paired with L.A. Cetto Chardonnay 2015.
- 3rd course: Green Chile chicken and spinach enchiladas with white cream sauce, rice and beans guacamole, paired with L.A. Cetto Cabernet Sauvignon 2014.
- 4th course: Jalapeno margarita cheesecake with a salty graham cracker crust, paired with a Mexican Moonshine margarita.
