Fibber Magees Irish Pub in Chandler hosts one of the East Valley’s premier annual beer events – the Feast of St. Arnold – from 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Saturday, July 15.
The festival, now in its fifth year, honors the patron saint of Belgian brewers and hop-pickers, and the pub puts together a tap list of 40 of “the coolest, rarest, and geekiest beers the world has to offer.â€

There also will be Belgian-inspired food specials and live entertainment.
Saturday’s food specials:
- Brussels Sprouts ($7.69): Pan-roasted with butter, crumbled bacon, onion, garlic. and red chili flakes.
- Triple de Pomme Frites ($8.49): Hand-cut fries with a trio of dipping sauces – chile lime ranch, sweet and spicy aiol, and house-made pineapple ketchup.
- Beer-Battered Shrimp ($9.49): Six extra-jumbo shrimp beer battered and served over a bed of peanut and pineapple slaw and topped with Bang Bang sauce.
- Mussels ($12.49): A full pound simmered in a broth of white wine, garlic, leaks, bacon, and red chili flakes. Served with garlic bread.
- Spinach & Kale Salad ($9.99): Baby spinach and chopped kale topped with fresh strawberries, goat cheese and candied walnuts. Served with strawberry vinaigrette.
- Chipotle Alfredo Linguine ($15.99): Linguine tossed with Alfredo sauce, adobo, peas, crumbled bacon, mussels and shrimp. Served with garlic bread.
- Apple Fritters ($7.49): Dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with salted caramel dipping sauce.
Admission to the all-day festival is free. Fibber Magees is located on the southeast corner of Dobson and Elliot in Chandler.
