A pan-seared lamb tenderloin will be the featured entree for this month’s ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’ dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert.
The three-course dinners feature three new dishes from chef Romeo Taus’ creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgable waitstaff:
- Asian Ahi Tuna Salad: With mixed baby greens, red cabbage, scallions, Persian cucumbers, daikon, carrots, sprouts, cauliflower, jalapenos, quinoa, spicy ginger-sesame-red pepper dressing, and tobiko caviar. Paired with 2014 VML Gewurztraminer Russian River Valley.
- Pork & Pinot: Grilled pork loin, Eric’s guacamole, roasted poblano peppers, onions, crispy smashed potatoes, fig – apricot glaze. Paired with 2012 Moniker Pinot Noir, Mendocino County.
- Chocolat. Paired with 2011 Flora Springs Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
