Chef Stephen Jones has closed his acclaimed Southern-style counter restaurant The Larder + The Delta at DeSoto Central Market in Phoenix.
Jones will look for a dedicated space for a traditional sit-down version of his restaurant, which had operated out of a six-seat stall at the shared-space market.
According to the Arizona Republic, Jones hopes to find a new home for The Larder + The Delta in downtown Phoenix by the end of the year, although a 2018 reopening may be more realistic.
In the meantime, Jones intends to do pop-ups and events.
