Dragoon, Tombstone and Ballast Point will share the spotlight at this month’s tap takeover at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 20, at Flanny’s in Tempe.
Tucson’s Dragoon, one of Arizona’s best breweries, will have its two excellent year-round beers – IPA and Stronghold Session Ale – on tap, as well as Ojo Blanco wheat, Seis Anniversary Imperial Stout, and Slow Dance Pilsner.
Up-and-coming Tombstone will have its Dank Fruit Double IPA – it’s hoppiest beer to date – along with Brett Saison aged in Chardonnay barrels, Imperial Stout with Piloncillo (unrefined brown sugar) aged in bourbon barrels, and Kellerbier.
San Diego’s Ballast Point will pour two limited releases –Barmy apricot-and-honey golden ale and Tart Peach Kolsch – with Bonito Blonde, Victory at Sea imperial porter, and its flagship Sculpin IPA.
