The fourth annual Real, Wild & Woody – an indoor beer festival featuring cask (real) beers, Brettanomyces yeast (wild) beers, and barrel-aged (woody) beers – will take place 2-6 p.m. Saturday, July 29.
More than 75 breweries will be pouring at the 21-and-over event, one of three premier festivals organized each year by the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild, inside the air-conditioned Phoenix Convention Center South Building.
This year’s festival will have a greatly expanded footprint, doubling its capacity (and making a sellout very unlikely, so tickets should be available at the door).
Tickets are $57 – the same as last year and 2015 – and include a souvenir glass, 20 beer samples, and small bites from local restaurants. Designated driver tickets are $25 and include food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Parking is available in the garage on the east side of the South Building.
