Hangar 24 will be the featured brewery when The Hungry Monk in Chandler hosts its monthly Beer & Bacon Night from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10.
Beers on tap from the Redlands, Calif., brewery will include:
- Betty IPA
- Double Betty IPA
- Twenty Four Blonde
- Apricot Flats
- Orange Wheat Sour
Bacon food specials from beer chef Gidi:
- Bacon Rangoon Egg Rolls: White Ale-infused crab-and-bacon mix blended with cream cheese and scallions and served with sweet chili dipping sauce. ($9)
- Monks Carbonara Pasta: Spaghetti noodles tossed with olive oil, parmesan, bacon, cheese, and broccoli topped with a sunny side up egg. ($10.50)
- The Goat of Chicken Parm: IPA-marinated chicken tenders rolled in panko and deep-fried, then wrapped in bacon and smothered with red ale marinara. Served on roll with choice of side. ($11.50)
- Candied bacon: Thick-cut bacon baked in secret beer mixture to a sticky, sweet, and salty treat. ($6)
