Joe’s Farm Grill in Gilbert closed today for five weeks of renovations. The 11-year-old burger stand, built on the site of owner Joe Johnston’s childhood home, is doubling the amount of air-conditioned indoor seating. It plans to reopen Oct. 12 and roll out some menu changes, particularly new drinks and desserts, this fall.
