SunUp Brewing in Phoenix debuts its latest beer – No Self Esteam Punk – when the brew pub’s doors open at 11 a.m. today. Steam beers, a style technically known as California Common, originated in the 18th-century California.
Because refrigeration wasn’t available, steam beers were brewed with lager yeasts but at warm temperatures, resulting in well-rounded beers with a touch of fruitiness.
