The Valley’s newest brewery – Good Bad Ugly Brewing, also known simply as GBU Brewing – holds its grand opening party from 5-10 p.m. today in Glendale.
The brewery is located inside Tavern+Bowl, a sports bar/bowling alley hybrid at the Westgate Entertainment District just north of University of Phoenix Stadium and Gila River Arena.
The 10-barrel brewhouse, which will provide beer for Tavern+Bowl, is overseen by Zach Schroeder, who spent the past decade as brewmaster at Sonoran Brewing.
Tonight’s festivities will include $1 GBU pints, $5 flights of GBU tasters, free Tavern+Bowl food pairings, and free brewery tours.
