Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert will host its monthly ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’dinner – featuring new food paired with some servers’ favorite wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21.
The three-course dinners feature three new dishes from chef Romeo Taus’ creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgable waitstaff:
- Roasted vegetable fillo strudel, roasted red pepper marinara, pork Milanesa arepa. Tuna and white bean salad chimichurri dressing. Paired with 2012 GrooVee Gruner Veltliner Pannon, Hungary.
- Broiled beef tenderloin, fennel, onion, red pepper, asparagus, snow peas, quinoa, mashed potatoes, brandy peppercorn cream sauce, mixed pickled peppers. Paired with 2012 Casa Castillo Monastrell Jumilla, Spain.
- Chocolate espresso pudding. Paired with 2013 Villa Borghetti Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore.
