Jimmy & Joe’s, Buddyz Chicago Pizza, and La Piazza al Forno are among the participating pizzerias in the third annual Phoenix Pizza Festival, which runs 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday at Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix.
Admission is $10, with children 5 and under allowed in for free. All food and drinks cost extra. Tickets must be purchased in advance here. The festival’s attendance is capped to prevent overcrowding.
Fifteen pizza makers will sell $2-$4 slices (or half or full pizzas, depending on their preference). Local craft beers, wines, soda, lemonade, and water also will be available.
The festival also will feature live bands, lawn games, desserts, a local vendor marketplace, and a kids craft zone.
