JC’s Steakhouse in Gilbert takes a trip around the world for its final monthly wine dinner of the year at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13. This month’s pairings feature wines from France, Italy, and New Zealand.
The food-and-wine pairings:
- 1st course: Ricotta Sopraffina with mango chutney and mascarpone crostini with pear and cranberry. Paired with Le Grand Noir Chardonnay.
- 2nd course: Mango and chopped mint salad with turkey curry soup. Paired with New Zealand Pinot Noir Rose.
- 3rd course: Roasted brisket. Paired with Chateau de Carles Bordeaux blend.
- 4th course: Red velvet cheesecake. Paired with Allegrini Valpolicella Superiore 2013.
