The Hungry Monk in Chandler has teamed up with The Perch Brewery in downtown Chandler to create Red42 – a beer tribute to late ASU and Cardinals player Pat Tillman.
The American maroon ale (5.9% ABV) will be unveiled at the Monk at noon Friday – one hour before ASU meets No. 24 North Carolina State in the Sun Bowl.
The Monk will be selling $3 pints of Red42 during the game and through happy hour. They will donate 42 cents from every pint sold to the Pat Tillman Foundation.
Tillman died while serving with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan in 2004.
