A few seats remain for the Arizona Beer Week six-course tacos and beer dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at The Hungry Monk in Chandler.
The tacos created by beer chef Gidi Goldberg and the beer pairings are:
- Mahi Fish: Pan-seared mahi mahi, charred pineapple slaw, pico de gallo, Baja sauce, flour tortilla. Paired with Pedal Haus Hoppy Lager.
- 5-Layer Pig: Beer-braised mojo pork, chorizo, pork belly cracklins, bacon aioli, pig something, salsa verde, corn tortillas. Paired with Borderlands Toole Ave.
- BBQ Goat: Beer-braised goat, pickled Fresno chile, cilantro, cotija, house BeerBQ sauce, avocado crème, corn tortillas. Beer pairing TBA.
- Smoked Prime Rib: Smoked espresso-crusted prime rib, roasted garlic horseradish aioli, crispy onion, red cabbage slaw, cotija cheese, corn tortillas. Paired with Huss Koffee Kolsch.
- Smoked Chicken & Waffle: Smoked chicken, housemade stout mole, crispy chicken skin, red onion, cilantro, fried quail egg, waffle taco. Paired with Scottsdale Beer Texas Tea.
- South of the Border Dessert: Udder Delights Mexican chocolate stout ice cream, caramelized banana, strawberry salsa, cinnamon stout whip, fried tortilla.
