If you like The Whining Pig as much as I do, you’ll be happy to learn the no-frills craft beer and wine bar is opening a second East Valley location on the northwest corner of I-10 and Ray in Ahwatukee.
It’s moving in between Honey Baked Ham and Native Grill & Wings in the small strip mall next to JC Penney.
Besides 30-plus beers on tap, the pint-sized but popular neighborhood hangouts offer a limited menu of five different grilled cheese sandwiches, a meat and cheese plate, and brownies.
The local concept debuted at 16th Street and Bethany in Phoenix in 2013 and since has added locations in Arcadia, downtown Phoenix, and Gilbert (pictured).
Look for The Whining Pig Ahwatukee to open in May.
