Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert will host its monthly ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’dinner – featuring new food paired with some servers’ favorite wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20.
The three-course dinners feature three new dishes from chef Romeo Taus’ (pictured) creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgeable waitstaff:
- Medi Tapas: Quinoa cake, artichoke hummus, lentils-stuffed piquillo, blue cream cheese puff, andouille corndog, and Cajun remoulade paired with 2013 Luke Donald Viognier.
- Smocked Pork Chop:Â Smoked pork chop, stewed red cabbage, horseradish pickled beets, roasted new potatoes, and grain mustard cream sauce paired with 2013 Antares Pinot Noir Atlas Peak.
- KahluChoco: Fudgy mocha (Kahlua and chocolate) tarts paired with 2014 Justin “Isosceles” Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend.
