Scary times early this morning at Sandbar Mexican Grill at Desert Ridge in northeast Phoenix. A video circulating on Facebook shows patrons standing outside as fire trucks respond to what appears to be a massive fire at the restaurant.
Amazingly, though, Sandbar posted an update on its Facebook page at 11 a.m. today indicating the damage wasn’t nearly as significant as it looked. In fact, the restaurant is open:
‘‘Taco Tuesday was LIT last night! But really tho, we had a minor mishap that was quickly resolved so join us TODAY for more of your favorite neighborhood joint shenanigans as biz carries on as usual!’’
