The popularity of hazy New England IPAs shows no signs of diminishing. The latest Arizona craft brewery to jump on board the trend is Uncle Bear’s in Ahwatukee.
Today, the brewery releases its (New) English Bulldog Hazy IPA, which it describes as such:
‘‘Using malted oats and unmalted wheat in the grain bill, a special yeast which remains in the beer after brewing … and Cryo-Hops for kettle and dry hopping, this juice bomb presents aromas of guava and pineapple, a silky mouthfeel, and lingering hop flavors.’’
The beer has an ABV of 5.6% and 33 IBUs.
