Someburros will celebrate the official opening of its new Tempe location on the southwest corner of Rural and Apache by giving away free burros to anyone in line when the doors open at 9 a.m. Friday, March 23.
The first 100 people in line will receive a VIP card good for a free burro every month for one year. Everyone else in line will get a choice of a free burro – green chile beef, red chile beef, or bean and cheese – redeemable that day.
In addition, anyone wearing ASU’s maroon and gold colors will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card.
Be warned: Parking is very limited at the location, which is the local chain’s seventh in the East Valley and ninth statewide.
