April 13: Swing for the Fences beer dinner at SunUp Brewing in Phoenix

SunUp Brewing in Phoenix celebrates the start of baseball season with its Swing for the Fences spring beer dinner at 6 p.m. Friday, April 13.

The dinner will feature five SunUp beers (TBD) paired with four courses of food:

  • Nacho Mama’s Nachos: Marta’s freshly made corn tortillas, fried golden, with Anasazi refried beans, red bell pepper pico de gallo, feta cheese, and a serrano chili sauce.
  • Sailor Jack’s Pretzel Bat: Christina’s house-made pretzels, stuffed with cream cheese, coated with Cracker Jacks, and served with an aged cheddar dipping sauce.
  • Mike Lamb Dog: A classic-style hot dog made with lamb and nestled inside a fresh bun, topped with house pickled jalapenos, and served with sides of veggie fries and beer mustard.
  • Going to the Bull Pen: Rubezahl reduced down with sugar into a syrup, then poured over a cone of crushed ice. A grown-up take on a childhood favorite.

A vegetarian option also is available.

Tickets are $35 per person. The dinner is expected to sell out quickly. Get your tickets here.
