SunUp Brewing in Phoenix celebrates the start of baseball season with its Swing for the Fences spring beer dinner at 6 p.m. Friday, April 13.
The dinner will feature five SunUp beers (TBD) paired with four courses of food:
- Nacho Mama’s Nachos: Marta’s freshly made corn tortillas, fried golden, with Anasazi refried beans, red bell pepper pico de gallo, feta cheese, and a serrano chili sauce.
- Sailor Jack’s Pretzel Bat: Christina’s house-made pretzels, stuffed with cream cheese, coated with Cracker Jacks, and served with an aged cheddar dipping sauce.
- Mike Lamb Dog: A classic-style hot dog made with lamb and nestled inside a fresh bun, topped with house pickled jalapenos, and served with sides of veggie fries and beer mustard.
- Going to the Bull Pen: Rubezahl reduced down with sugar into a syrup, then poured over a cone of crushed ice. A grown-up take on a childhood favorite.
A vegetarian option also is available.
Tickets are $35 per person. The dinner is expected to sell out quickly. Get your tickets here.
