Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert will host its monthly ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’dinner – featuring new food paired with some servers’ favorite wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17.
The three-course dinners feature three new dishes from chef Romeo Taus’ creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgeable waitstaff:
- 3 Tapas (pictured): Lobster mac-and-cheese, roasted eggplant, tomato-scallion-avocado-basil salad, potato-artichoke-feta-bacon-jalapeno fritter, tomato sauce. Paired with 2013 Luke Donald Chardonnay, Carneros.
- Sonoran Pork: Roasted pork, grilled onion, poblano salsa verde, Israeli couscous, vegetable medley. Paired with 2014 Billhook Red Blend, Santa Barbara County.
- Carespro: Espresso-caramel pot de crème. Paired with 2008 Antico Monastero Barolo, Piedmont, Italy.
