Beer ’n’ Bones in Mesa offers boozy blend of science-related fun, food, and craft beers April 13

One of the Valley’s more unusual craft beer events – the sixth annual Beer ’n’ Bones – will be 7-11 p.m. Friday, April 13, at the Arizona Museum of Natural History in downtown Mesa.

The 21-and-over event features craft beers, food trucks, and science-related fun such as speed dating with scientists, live animal stations, bug tasting, and hops smelling.

Tickets are $20 in advance (by 5 p.m. Thursday, April 12) or $25 at the door, and include two food and drink tickets.

VIP tickets (available until 5 p.m. Thursday, April 12) are $45 and include early (6 p.m.) entry, a custom glass, four food and drink tickets, a T-shirt voucher, and either a tour of the paleo lab or a ‘‘Science of Beer’’ panel.

Additional food and drink tickets are $4 apiece or three for $10. Alcoholic beverages will cost two tickets; non-alcoholic drinks and snacks one ticket; food truck items one to three tickets.
