If you’re among the many Chandler residents wondering if Jimmy T’s Holy Crab is ever going to open, there’s finally some news to share.
MXSW has learned the independent restaurant, which seemingly has been under construction since 2016 on the northwest corner of Alma School and Ray, finally is ready to open.
A ‘‘friends and family’’ stress-test night is planned for next week, with the public opening about a week later.
Holy Crab is a combination of a Cajun seafood restaurant (similar to Angry Crab Shack) and neighborhood sports bar (with lots of big-screen TVs and nine beers on tap).
The 5,752-square-foot building has a brand new 1,200-square-foot front patio with a special grill for cooking small-bite skewers of shrimp and other seafood.
