Julia’s Mesquite Mexican Grill in Chandler will hold a fundraiser Saturday, April 21, for owner Federico Estrada, who revealed last month he is fighting stage 4 colon cancer.
Estrada’s family will be serving tacos for donations from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The fundraiser will take place outside the restaurant, which is located in front of Target on Arizona Avenue north of Warner.
All donations will help pay the medical bills of the 38-year-0ld father of four. Like many East Valley restaurant owners, Estrada has no health insurance and is paying his medical expenses out of pocket.
