McFate, OHSO, Saddle Mountain & Four Peaks win medals at 2018 World Beer Cup

Congrats to four Arizona breweries – McFate, OHSO, Saddle Mountain, and Four Peaks – that won medals Thursday night at the prestigious 2018 World Beer Cup in Nashville, Tenn.

The competition, which is held every other year, judged 8,234 beers from 2,515 breweries in 66 countries. Gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded in 101 style categories.

Scottsdale brewery McFate brought home the gold medal in the Chili Beer category for its McFate Hatch Chile Gatos, an easy-drinking cream ale brewed with roasted Hatch chiles.

Saddle Mountain in Goodyear won a silver in Scottish-Style Ale for its Taildragger Clan-Destine.

Four Peaks in Tempe also took a bronze in Other International-Style Lager for its Four Peaks Golden Lager.
