Tempe distillery Adventurous Stills introduces the third release of its quarterly Explorers Club series – a cask-strength rye whiskey – with a party from 1-8 p.m. Saturday, May 12.
The 100% rye whiskey (109.1 proof) is described as ‘‘floral up front with the rye flavor and a spice that you expect.’’
Members of the distillery’s Explorers Club are guaranteed a bottle; the rest of the limited release will be available to the public until sold out.
Other than Explorer Club bottles, you can enjoy $5 cocktails and $3 off all other bottles all day Saturday.
Adventurous Stills is located in the industrial area southeast of Tempe Marketplace.
