Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert will host its monthly ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’dinner – featuring new food paired with some servers’ favorite wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 15.
The three-course dinners feature three new dishes from chef Romeo Taus’ creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgeable waitstaff:
- 3 Tapas: Lentils & apple/chicken sausage; chorizo, poblano, potato hash with an egg on top; polenta, spicy tuna salad & guacamole. Paired with 2013 VML Winery Chardonnay, Russian River, Sonoma County.
- Pollo AlItalia: Grilled chicken tenders, cauliflower-spinach-mascarpone ‘‘risotto,’’ shredded kale, corn, roasted red peppers, and cannellini bean salad. Paired with 2013 Marchesi Fumanelli Valpolicella Classico Superiore Veneto, Italy.
- Chocofran: Raspberry chocolate (pictured). Paired with 2013 Dark Horse Petite Sirah, California.
