Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Tempe to offer 25% off food & non-alcoholic drinks May 18-23

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, a Texas-based chain of dine-in movie theaters, will open its second Arizona location Friday, May 18, in Tempe.

The seven-screen complex is located on the northwest corner of Baseline and Lakeshore (halfway between Rural and McClintock).

During the first week – May 18-23 – the public will get 25% off all food and non-alcoholic beverages as the staff undergoes training.

Alamo’s menu features salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and other entrees. The bar offers beer, wine, cocktails, and ‘‘adult milkshakes.’’

Screenings and seating will be limited during the soft launch, so you should reserve tickets in advance here.

The Tempe location will celebrate its grand opening on May 24.

The chain made its Arizona debut in south Chandler in 2016.
