The first Downtown Donut Festival will take place from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix.

The event was created by the organizers of the fourth annual Phoenix Pizza Festival, which takes place Saturday, Nov. 17, at the same site.

Approximately 15 local doughnut makers will serve $1 doughnuts, samples of doughnuts, doughnut holes, and other doughnut creations.

There also will be mimosa bars, craft beer, and wine tasting stations.

Other attractions will include lawn games, live bands, a kids craft zone, and local business vendors.

Admission will be $8.

The announcement of the fest coincides with National Donut Day, which is this Friday.
