Cotton & Copper, which describes itself as ‘‘a modern take on the classic public house,’’ will open later this summer on the northeast corner of Rural and Warner in south Tempe.
The corner also is home to Tempe Public Market Cafe, which opened in January, and modern Southwest restaurant Ghost Ranch, scheduled to open this summer.
For its head chef, Cotton & Copper has hired Tamara Stanger, who has led Helio Basin Brewing‘s kitchen since the well-regarded east Phoenix brewpub opened in July 2016.
