Build-your-own pizza concepts battle for No. 1 spot among fastest-growing restaurant chains

Nation’s Restaurant News, a website that covers the food-service industry, has released its annual list of the Top 10 Fastest-Growing Restaurant Chains of 2018:

1. MOD Pizza
2. Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza
3. Shake Shack
4. First Watch
5. Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant
6. Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers
7. Fuzzy’s Taco Shop
8. Tropical Smoothie Cafe
9. Black Bear Diner
10. Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

You’ll find nine of these in the Valley. The exception is Illinois-based Cooper’s Hawk, which has no locations west of Missouri.
