Cider Corps in downtown Mesa to release 3-packs of its 1st canned ciders June 30

Cider Corps in downtown Mesa is celebrating Independence Day by bringing back its line of ‘‘Red, White and Blue’’ pie-flavored ciders this weekend.

The three limited-edition ciders – Rhubarb Pie, Apple Pie, and Blueberry Pie – will be the first canned ciders offered by the 8-month-old cidery and taproom.

Three-packs of 16-ounce cans will go on sale for $17.76 at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30. Only 400 three-packs are available, so there’s a limit of three three-packs per person.

When the taproom opens at 11 a.m., the pie ciders also will be served on tap for $7 per pint, with $1 from each going to the Mesa Veteran’s Resource Center.

If the cans sell out, the pie ciders will be available for growler fills.

Cider Corps will be closed Wednesday, July 4.

Starting Thursday, July 5, Cider Corps will shift to its summer hours: 3-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 3-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
