Metalachi, the world’s first (and apparently only) heavy metal mariachi band will headline the musical lineup at this year’s Rockin’ Taco Street Fest in downtown Chandler.
The seventh annual fest will take place noon-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15.
Besides tacos from local restaurants and vendors, the event will feature a custom lowrider car show, Lucha Libre wrestling matches, eating competitions, a tequila tavern, and a kids zone.
General admission tickets are now on sale for $10; kids 12 and under get in free.
VIP tickets are $100 and include a private VIP area, six alcohol beverages, catered food from Modern Tortilla, shaded seating, and private restrooms.
